BING’S CHERRIES School Visits
in March 2026
I am so excited for the launch of Bing’s Cherries from Penguin Random House in March 2026!
To celebrate, I’d like to visit seven elementary schools FREE of honorarium, with the below conditions. Please read carefully to see if your class/school might be a good fit.
Book Visit Eligibility
Minimum of 15-20 books purchased per visit.*
The students will read Bing’s Cherries before the presentation.
The students will prepare a list of questions in advance for the Q&A.
I recommend 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders for this book.
School covers my travel costs (ground transportation if driving more than 1 hour, flight and accommodations if needed).
Available days: March 6, March 9, March 10, March 11, March 12, March 20, March 27. These slots will be filled first-come, first-served.**
Each presentation takes 50 minutes. The visit will include a slide presentation, an interactive drawing component, and Q&A. I will do up to 2 presentations per school.
*Random House may be able to offer a discounted price or connect your school to a local bookstore. Alternatively, discounted books can be purchased here for $12/book with a minimum order.
**I am based in the Seattle area. The timing of the visit and the distance I can travel varies from day to day. Let’s talk specifics!

I do school visits several times a year, often when a book has just come out! I can’t show the best photos due to student privacy reasons, but here are some example scenes that show what your school visit might look like.

Complete the form below if you to add your school to my list of eligible participants. I will select seven schools by February 2026 and will aim to reply within a week of receiving your message. If any of the initial schools cannot commit, I will extend offers to schools on the waiting list.
